Together with her mother, grandmother, aunts, siblings, and cousins, she grew up selling her pieces at such venues as the famed Santa Fe Indian Market.

Dayak: The Art of the Head-hunters of Borneo Through May 17, 2020 Lugano, Switzerland Contact This recently opened exhibition, dedicated to the art and material culture of the Dayak people from Borneo, is the largest of its kind in the last forty-five years. On display are 170 works mostly produced between the early19th and mid 20th centuries. These objects of great charm and mystery are on loan from the MUSEC, four other Swiss ethnological museums and private collections. |

The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum

THE NATIONAL QUILT MUSEUM
Located in a 27,000 square foot facility in historic downtown Paducah, Kentucky, the museum's three galleries feature exhibits of the finest quilt and fiber art in the world. The museum features three exhibit galleries. The museum's vibrant and breathtaking exhibits are rotated 8-10 times per year. NATIONAL BASKETRY ORGANIZATION The National Basketry Organization is a non-profit organization that unites people interested in basketry to provide education and to promote basket making. The Weavers Guild of Minnesota (“WGM”) is dedicated to preserving and advancing the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing. Since its founding in 1940 by six women, including Hilma Berglund, WGM has established itself as a nationally-recognized resource for the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing. WGM offers over 150 classes and events annually, serving nearly 700 new and experienced fiber artists each year. It was the catalyst in the formation of the Textile Center, where WGM currently maintains classroom, retail, and library space.
