Southwest Weaving News
November 2022
November 2022
Well, the days are shorter, the nights are longer and I’m woefully behind, as usual!
This time of year, we are so often speeding up with all the holiday activities, but the winter season
is meant to be a time to slow down, think quietly about the past year and what lies ahead and recharge.
One of the best ways to recharge is to create a little something just for the joy of it.
Remember to take a little time for yourself in the coming weeks to create.

I’ve been weaving during my tapestry class—here a couple of images. I took out some of the left side below the dark curve because the two sides weren’t unified.
I think it’s a lot better now. I’ll be adding two more dark curved shapes. More on that next time….
And, what about the twill tapestry you were working on, you may ask?
Well, it’s about where it was when I showed it to you in September. I’ve been busy teaching, writing, trying to do videos—a whole new learning curve!!---and haven’t gotten back to it. Hopefully, I’ll be able to work on it again soon.
What are you working on?
Remember, to send images of your current works-in-progress or finished pieces for inclusion here.
… I don’t want to be the only one sharing, you know!
